Tom is a Founding Partner of The Lionstone Group. He serves as an Investment Committee member and as the lead partner responsible for Lionstone’s national Urban Core and Infill Land investment programs.

Prior to forming Lionstone, Tom was a senior officer with Hines. During his fifteen year career with Hines, Tom was involved in domestic real estate development, investment and finance as well as responsible for Hines expansion into Latin America.

Tom is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Architecture and received his MBA from Rice University in 1984.

Tom's community activities include serving as current President of the Houston Parks Board, serving on the Board of Texas Children's Hospital, and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects.
